Registration fees:
$180.00 registration plus National Fee and service fee
Early Bird registration available until May 31st 2025: $160 per player plus National Fee and service fee
Late registrations (after July 15th, 2025) will increase to $200.00 plus the National Fee and service fee

NEW TEAMMATE REQUEST POLICY (FALL 2026)
Standard Operating Procedure: Teammate ("Buddy") Requests - AYSO SOCCER Region 295, Alpine
Effective Date: April 28, 2026
Buddy Request Deadline: July 15, 2026
Scope: Kickstart through 8U Divisions
1. Purpose
This SOP outlines the process for "Teammate Requests" during the registration period. The primary goal is to support player retention and comfort for younger athletes while maintaining the AYSO core philosophy of Balanced Teams.
2. Policy Guidelines
2.1 Eligibility by Division
Kickstart, 6U & 8U Divisions: Families may request one (1) buddy to be placed on the same team.
10U Divisions and Up: Individual buddy requests are not permitted. The only exception is the pairing of a Head Coach’s child with an Assistant Coach’s child, provided they are in the same age division.
Coach Requests: Requests for specific coaches are not permitted in any division.
2.2 Deadlines and Guarantees
Deadline: All requests must be submitted by July 15, 2026.
No Guarantees: While the region strives to accommodate requests, they are not guaranteed. The Team Balancing Committee and the Board of Directors reserve the right to decline requests across the league.
3. Submission Procedure
Access Portal: Navigate to the official registration website at alpineayso.org.
Registration Form: Complete the standard player registration.
Teammate Request Question: * For Kickstart/6U/8U, enter the first and last name of the requested buddy in the designated field. Note that the field will show up for all registrations, regardless of division.
Reciprocity (Recommended): For the avoidance of doubt, both families must request each other's teammate ("mutual requests").
4. Review and Team Placement
4.1 Team Balancing Committee Role
Following the July 15th deadline, the Team Balancing Committee will review all submissions. The committee will prioritize:
Balanced Skill Levels: Ensuring no single team becomes overmatched due to buddy groupings.
Volunteer Status: Pairing children of registered coaching volunteers (specifically for 10U+ exceptions).
4.2 Fulfillment Logic
Same immediate family in same division (brothers, sisters): Top priority for all divisions
Mutual Requests (both players utilize Teammate Requests): High priority for Kickstart/6U/8U.
One-Way Teammate Requests: May be considered based on Board discretion.
Coach/Assistant Pairings: Verified against volunteer registration status before approval.
5. Communication
Families will be notified of their team assignments through the standard coach contact process or via the registration portal once teams are finalized.
Note: Board members will not provide status updates on individual buddy requests prior to team releases.

Refund Policy
National Fee and processing fee are nonrefundable
Requests made between August 1st and September 1st will be less $75 (processing fee & uniform)
No refunds will be made after September 1st.
ALL Requests for a refund must be submitted via e-mail to [email protected], with an explanation why you are requesting a refund. Please include your child’s name and DOB, your name, and telephone number where you may be reached in case we need more information.
